Birthday Fishes

I think all of the blog land knows my love toward mermaids by now :)

I am NOT ashamed! They are cute and adorable, and look at the eyes! So much curiosity and good natured humor-who wouldn't LOVE them?!

On my card everything is pretty simple:

I stamped the mermaid and fish and corals, made mask, covered, colored background with Distress ink pads and cosmetic sponges.

Colored Arianna and her friend with Copic markers, added some flowers, and pearls.

And my card is ready to be delivered.

Silent night

Here I have made 2 cards, with the same main stamp (log house) and a different sky and coloring, turned out two different looks.
Simple, yet very Chrismasy :)
Later on I'll just add an appropriate sentiment, and... I think I am done with my Crismas cards!

Fall Colors- Frank and Kitty

At Kraftin' Kimmie we have another fun challenge: "Fall Colors" I had to do this image-it was requested by my son, and so... I had to go and buy it just because HE insisted he wanted it for his B-day! (which was in August) but, he agreed to wait. You see, for all the fans of the newest game "Zombies Vs Plants" which my son just cannot get enough at this time, this is just the perfect image for a B-card :) oh, well, Frank is so cute and adorable I WANTED him too, (love the look an the cat's face-he, he)...
Well, since it is for a boy... I kept it simple, just some plain cardstock, and a simple language in a way-which is what I imagine Frank would be using.
And of course! I colored my image in a Fall Colors! :)-My son LOVED the card!

Stempunk in burgundy

But, why not?!?
This card feels for me sort of like romantic poetry :)
It's MAGICAL time!It's-girls want to have fun! It's red velvet and dark chocolate, high boots and feeling SEXY! Enjoy!

Card recipe is not so simple :) But here I tried for the first time Prima's paper from Craftsman collection-REALLY LOVE IT! and the gold pin is from the same collection, owl is a sticker I bought from a local Wal  Mart store. Inside the frame I have a piece of acetate which I printed design on the printer, and colored with alcohol ink-butterfly is from the same piece of acetate.

Flowers, and glitter, a torn piece of book page and a clock(Prima)
And of course Steampunk gears from Ranger.

Mermaid mania

I think, I am infecting everyone around me with Mermaid mania))) My daughter just today made 2 pictures with mermaids  she even sleeps with a statue of a mermaid.
:)and in the blog Paint your world is a new challenge: "Mermaids!" well, how can I pass that one??? :))
So... here it is! I have made 3! of them)

All the mermaids are from Make it Crafty

Green mermaid is colored with Copic markers, 2nd one is colored with distress ink pads, and the 3rd one is colored with Prismacolor pencils. Backgrounds on all of them colored with distress ink pads and cosmetric sponges.

Which one is YOUR favorite version?

This is a SPECIAL project that I am doing together with Scrap Info blog, and my friend Dashik
The challenge of this project is to create a book, using stamps and coloring them. You are allowed to use digi stamps or even draw your own images (lucky you!)

Ну а теперь первое задание. Оно совсем не сложное, для разогрева :) Хотя и остальные задания, я уверена, будут всем по силам.
Итак, нужно раскрасить картинку яркими цветами.
Сразу хочу сказать, что порядок заданий и порядок картинок могут не совпадать. Т.е. не обязательно, что по первому заданию вы должны раскрасить первую картинку в книжке. Моя картинка будет 4-ой по счету в книге.

Срок выполнения – до 30 сентября. 1 октября будет новое задание. Присоединиться к проекту можно в любой момент. Но нужно обязательно выполнить все задания, чтобы поучаствовать в розыгрыше призов.

Проект проходит на порталe.

Русалочка штамп от КК

 

Русалка раскрашена карандашами Prismacolor, фон сделан с помощью дистресс-чернил, осьминог раскрашен копиками, затем горячий эмбоссинг, и сверху покапано goosebumps. В последнюю очередь вырезанные кораллы и водоросли.

Почему русалочья история?
Потому что моя доченька  Вика попросила книжку о русалках, читать она еще не умеет, а картинки красочные и веселые любит. А когда много текста она теряет интерес-ну маленькая еще. Вот, мы подобрали текст который похож на коротенькие английские песенки. 
Текст будет на другой половинке, его я потом покажу, в собранной книжке.
Ну, а теперь будем ждать ВАШИХ работ с нетерпением, и продолжать вдохновлять друг друга!

Meow-y Christmas

This is the last day of Blog Hop at KK,
And I made this little decoration with a Kitty stamp which I just absolutely L-O-V-E!!!
I stamped image on a shrink plastik, colored with pencils, shrank, glued to a blank round coaster, added some Bling and embelishments, on the back side is (my favorite!) :) sentiment-I think I am goint to keep this one, but, will make more of these for presents for my kids teachers for the holidays.

 This fun and Cheerful image I just had to do it on a Kraft paper-I don't know why-it was just asking to be on it! And I have to tell you a little secret-I have never colored on Kraft paper before!
It was an experiment-which I totally enjoyed. I know... I know... I do need more experience, but, I still liked it :) My Kitty has a texture, he's warm and fuzzy, and he wants to make your holidays fun! But, he's mine:)

Well, first when I got this stamp, I wanted to do something different, something I have NEVER done before! So, when I saw this pretty brad in the center of the flower-I went CRAZY! :) And made girls shirt matching-it was fun I used all sort of colors-green, red, and gold Smooch for a opalescent shimmer. Card looks simple, but shirt and the pin, and matching "snowflakes" on the background paper kind of came all together for a nice and elegant card-My opinion of course ))
By the way-this stamp is also from Kraftin' Kimmie's new collection-come check all the new stuff.

On this card I changed scetch just a touch, I dry embossed pine trees, colored and cut out image of the girl, glued snowflakes, roling snow hills, and aren't those perls look like snow balls? :)

And the sentiment turned into a giant snowball, maybe this lady is planning to build a snowman?

Holiday Krafty Peeks.....Day Three!!

Emilie's Etchings-This adorable and funny elf is another fantastic stamp from Kraftin' Kimmies-come and check all of them out!
Mine I colored with Copic markers, I used some pretty old Xmas papers from my stash-don't even know who the maker is-I assume it's from DCWV.
 Ribbon and a buckle I got as a gift when I bought some goodies from ebay, flower-I made myself with white plain paper and some tissue, a little green lace and a pin-and I was done :) But the expression on that poor little elf -is priceless! :)-How cute, huh?

Holiday Lulu

Is the new stamp from Kraftin' Kimmie Cheryl Alger Designs, and these adorable girls remind me of my nieces Liana and Jessica, sweet cute and adorable!
They look like little angels, but they hide mischief in their eyes-watch out mama! :)
For this card I have used all sort of different paper: Kraft and  plain white cardstock,  fantastic paper from last years collection from Echo park.
Die cuts are from Memory Box, Prima flower, rhinestones.
Background I colored with distress ink-aged mahogany, girls are colored with Copic markers, cut out by hand and attached with foam Scotch tape. And a little crystal star pin finishes the whole ideal picture.

Holiday Trinkets

I always think of Holidays with two different feelings, which contradict each other :)
I LOVE the smells of Thanksgiving and Christmas: baking cookies, roasting turkey, smell of evergreen and pine and of course the pumpkin pie!
Hectic times, time with family and friends, and time when your feet just want to fall off your body! LOL-that is ME!-well, this stamp is a 100%-ME at those times, crazy busy very wide eyed too!-(hoping NOT to burn my turkey or the pie!)
Kraftin' Kimmie never met me, but sure captured me in all my glory!
Today I combined two things- Kraftin' Kimmie MERRY image and a new and FAB trinket, which is quite perfect for all styles of cards for Holidays-come and check them out at Kraftin' Kimmies store and blog
This card I have made in a different shape, than I usually do-for that I have to say: "Thank you" Nancy D-her wonderful card inspired me.

Скрап-Инфо совместный проект

Здравствуйте!

Сегодня, я и Дашик, хотим предложить вам новый совместный проект. Мы очень волнуемся. Нам самим очень нравится наша идея, и мы надеемся, что и вам она понравится, и вы захотите к нам присоединиться.

Что может быть лучше вещи, сделанной вами лично для близкого и любимого человека. Пока вы создаете эту вещь, она пропитывается вашей любовью, получает частичку вашей души. И мы с Дашей предлагаем вам сделать такой подарок вашему ребенку (или любому другому близкому вам человеку) – и подарок этот будет книга. Уверена, книгу созданную вами, будут читать с удовольствием и хранить ее очень бережно.

В чем смысл совместного проекта. Мы с Дашей очень любим раскрашивать штампы (цифровые или настоящие не важно). Но нам кажется, что с раскрашенными картинками можно делать не только открытки. И как-то меня посетила отличная мысль - сделать с их помощью книгу. Ведь штампов существует огромное множество, на самые разные темы. И сюжеты картинок можно подобрать почти на любую тему. И мы придумали такой проект.

Вы выбираете тему вашей книги. У меня – это одна сказка на всю книгу, у Дашика – это сборник сказок, который моя дочь будет читать сама.

На самом деле книги только сказками не ограничиваются. Можно проиллюстрировать детские стихи (такие, как стихи Барто), или серьезные стихотворения/произведения, используя, например различные природные штампы и картинки. Вы можете даже проиллюстрировать ваше собственное произведение. В общем, тема книг может быть абсолютно любая.

В проекте будет 6 этапов с заданиями, и 7-й этап – сборка книжки. Каждый этап рассчитан на 10 дней. В каждом этапе будет небольшое задание, на раскрашивание, т.к. этот проект посвящен именно раскрашенным картинкам.

Присоединиться к проекту можно с любого этапа. Но если вы хотите, участвовать в конце проекта в розыгрыше приза, то к концу проекта, нужно будет выполнить все задания и собрать книжку.

Сразу скажу – раскрашивать вы можете чем угодно – акварелью, акрилом, маслом, дистрессом, масляными карандашами, акварельными карандашами… чем вы любите. Задания не будут влиять на технику раскрашивания.

Что касается картинок, вы можете использовать резиновые, силиконовые, цифровые штампы, и даже отрисовки.

Что касается цифровых штампов, то их выбор огромен, стоят они в разы дешевле резиновых, их можно сразу получить (не нужно связываться с почтой). Довольно большой перечень интернет-магазинов, которые продают цифровые штампы, есть у меня в блоге, слева на боковой панельке. Это те магазины, рисунки которых мне нравятся. И если вам это интересно, вы можете пролистать их все.

Проект будет проходить на порталe. Для каждого этапа будет своевременно создана тема с заданием, куда нужно будет выкладывать свои работы. Конечно, и в своих блогах мы будем писать об этом проекте. Но основное обсуждение все-таки будет вестись на портале.

Сейчас, если вам интересен этот проект вы можете записываться в этой теме, а так же задавать ваши вопросы.

Тем кто желает к нам присоединиться, нужно определиться с темой книжки и выбрать картинки. Начать проект мы планируем с 20 сентября. И к этому числу вы должны будете выбрать тему книги и соответственно подобрать весь текст. А так же нужно будет выбрать те картинки, что вы будете раскрашивать. Всего их должно быть не меньше 6 штук (по числу этапов), но можно и больше.

Сразу расскажу про некоторые идеи. Вы можете располагать картинки на отдельных страничках, а можете и в тексте. Вы можете сделать на развороте с одной стороны картинка, с другой текст и так каждый разворот. Или же вы можете пропускать какие-то развороты, сделав их полностью текстовыми. И т.д. Всё зависит от того, для кого вы создаете книгу и на какую тему.

Мы уже с Дашей определились с темами наших книжек и теперь ждем вас. А пока будем готовить для вас первое задание.

Чтобы было еще интересней. Спонсором этого проекта будет магазин Дашика - I Love Scrap. И в конце проекта будут разыграны три приза – два сертификата, каждый на сумму по 500 р и бесплатная доставка ваших призов.

Третий приз от меня - заготовка для декорирования - вот такие часы.

Один приз будет разыгран рендомом (сертификат), а двух других победителей мы с Дашей выберем сами. Все победители будут выбраны среди тех, кто закончит полностью проект. Так же по окончанию каждого этапа будет выбран ТОП, и если есть желание, приглашенный дизайнер на следующий этап.

Что еще. Очень интересно участвовать в проекте, где много народа, можно посмотреть на работы других участников, вдохновиться и почерпнуть идеи. Пообщаться в теплой компании людей, занятых одним и тем же. Поэтому просим вас рассказать о проекте в ваших блогах. Это не обязательно, но было бы очень здорово!

Trees, trees and more TREES!

Trees-that is the challenge theme at CRAFT a SCENE! And I am so hoping for Autumns cool and fresh air, that woods at night seems the place to be.
And while we are taking a stroll, we see a magical moment, a cauple of deers in the moon light.
On this card I have used stamps by stampscapes, and colored with distress ink pads. Glitter, and plain cardstock.
I gave this card as a gift to Nancy D-while visiting Victoria B.C.
I hope she likes this romantic, night in the woods :)

Challenge 145 - Piece Out!!!

This is my VERY favorite stamp, I have made a lot of cards with this particular girl, but this is a very first time I didn't color her completely-her dress is a paper piecing, because at Kraftin' Kimmie there is a challenge to do ANY KK stamp with paper piecing technique. I think that for a lot of people who are squeamish about coloring image is a perfect way to try Kimmie's stamps.
I found this old clock at one of my favorite scrapbooking store at Seaside OR, and I just wanted to do it together with this stamp, where Cinderella hears the clock chiming midnight, she wants to yell to the Prince: " You know you love me!" but, all she can do is run away, before the last magic disappears into the night.
I also LOVE the tiny blue flowers-they look like they are made out of frosting :)-cake decorator in me, hasn't died altogether yet, LOL!
Oh, I forgot to tell that the paper I have used is Crafty Secrets-LOVE it!
And a shoe I have bought on ebay.

A present for ME!

This ADORABLE Cutie pie, has arrived for me ALL the way from my home town in RUSSIA! He is handmade by a fantastic ladyТани-Darina , who has a magic touch. I am so exited, and dream and swoon ower this little baby. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Now, I am dreaming to have a second one-in blue ;)

as for me... I can only do cards :)
And this is my latest creation. My daughter bought a little doll ower a weekend, and that doll was packaged with this plastic dome, I decided-why should I throw away, when I can use it?
So... I colored image of the girl(Craft and Me) with.... yeah.... kiddies CRAYONS! Can you believe this??? I didn't bring any other media with me to the beach house, got lonely,and decided to busy my self with CRAYONS. :)
You know-I did enjoyed the process!
But, since this is plastic dome, it turned out that it is NOT so easy to take pictures of it(
