Do you like a good spooky story?
I do somethimes, I used to be totally not even touched by Halloween, growing up in a baptist family, it was sort of "no-no"...Harry Potter and Anne Rice DON'T even mention to my parents!!!)))
But, ever since I've got my own two children, well... things change)))
Anyway... I just couldn't resist making this card:

019G Cloud Cumulus lg
139H Seaside Cove
107E Cloud with Sun
268E Sand Pattern
126B Palm Duo

Bacground paper I have made with shaving foam, and distress ink refills-that was really fun to do, and even my 4 year old  was helping me a lot)))
To color my card I have used different colors of Adirondack ink pads, and cosmetic sponges.

Why, yes... I am a goddess!

This was really fun to make! :) And I am so happy how they have turned out!
I had this idea, that I needed a grecian column for this card, I searched every where... but couldn't find anything at all.... And then... yesterday I was giving a cookie to my son-EURIKA!!! Cookie was wrapped in this paper that looked  EXACTLY what I needed! :) and card have been born :)
I took that paper, wrapped around itself, it gave me a dimention, and texture and caracter to the card.
The main image of the goddess is Kraftin Kimmie, and dove is from Whiff of Joy, which I colored with Copic markers.
I painted clouds on the background, with cloud stencil I have made.  I used Tumbled glass to color clouds on Neenah paper, glued my column, made a frame using Martha Stewart around the corner punch. Painted edges with Krylon Gold Leaf. Die cutted some clouds, added some glitter.
Goddes and dove I attached with Scoth foam tape.
I got inspired by this picture I have found on the net. I am sorry, I don't know who the author is, otherwise I would have posted their name as well.

By the way at I Love Scrapbooking blog, there is a Challenge going on right now, where you have to make a crapbooking project where you have clouds. Come check out designers work, you might get inspired! :)
Enjoy!

I wanted to do a serene and dreamy card, it reminds me of a place called "Ice House" in California, where me and my husband used to go fishing for Trout, and camp.
I was always impressed with the night sky there-that was pure magic!
And hearing splish-splash water of the lake was so much like the lullaby.

STAMPSCAPES-stamps used:
049G Lakeside Cove lg
067B Reeds
122F Bare Branch lg
170A Egret

Thanks for stopiing by! Always happy to see, that you have been here!

In the moon light

I Am a VERY-VERY lazy blogger lately:)
What can I tell you, I do a lot of cards, but I wish someone else would post them:)))
I just like to play with my inks, and stamps, and get all the clutter in my head into the paper.
I did this card, and I had so much fun making it.
Maybe not everything is correct from the point of artists view... oh, well... I never studied art, so I do what seems good to me:)
All the trees and the buck
are from Stampscapes
The whole card is painted with Distress ink on a Neenah paper
some of the evergreens are done with heat embossing (for texture)
and LOTS of flower soft on the ground
Moon was made with the help of a mask

Wish you all a great day!
Thanks for stopping by.

Beach Scenes - a bit of sand and water.

Craft a Scene DT

Hello everyone!
I sure hope you have a good weekends, ours are very busy, trying to keep up with kids, and all the activities they are involved in.

Today I have some fun news to share. I am on the Craft a Scene design team! Craft a Scene is a challenge site focusing on scenic stamping. I am sure most of you already know that I love scenic stamping, so it is a dream come true to me to be on a TEAM.
And this is my first card as a DT member, our theme for the month of June is  Beach Scenes - a bit of sand and water.
The challenge is for a whole month so you have a plenty of time to get inspired and to join us in creating interesting and fantastic scenes.

To create this card I have used stamps from Stampscapes:
that would be a Palm trees, and the reflection of the water

And the sail boat, mountains, birds and the bottom text  are stamps from: " Hobby Art" different collections.
The text on the top is from Ranger.

I colored my image and the background with Distress ink, the grains of sand are made with acrylic paint of two colors: Brown and yellow, with the help of toothbrush.
The flower was punched out, colored, and then I added a touch of Glossy.
