Black Pearl

 
I don't know about you... But, I really, really loved Pirates of the Caribbean:)
 

And this was my inspiration:
 
 
 
and I also just finished reading a book
called: "Бегущая по волнам"-She Who Runs on the Waves By author: Alexander Grin
And there was yet another movie : "The Ghost ship" which gave me shivers :)
Anyway... I saw that at Craft a Scene Blog there is a fun theme going on now:
And I just couldn't resist to play with that theme

Here I used only one stamp-the ship, colored with dry chalk, and distress ink pads by Ranger.
Moon was don with yellow office stikies and white gel pen for accents.

    I like the movie too...and I find it so great that you have been inspired by that movie to make this creation.

      the stamp I have used is by Flourishes(ship), the rest is painted freehand with sponges and Qtips :)just looking at the inspiration picture on the computer, and painting on my paper :)

  11. I love the darkness and the light off to the sides. Looks like large waves and a angels wings. Love the mysterious ship and the colors. I love those movies too, you captured the photo well.

  13. Oh my talented friend - you know how much I love the mysterious creations that you do -- love it and I know if I could see it for real I would really love it more. Why oh why can you not live close to me so I could watch you work and take lessons from you. I am drooling all over my computer over this delightful piece of artwork!
