It's amazing, how image changes from the coloring, and the way you shape the card. I am impressed how even the ethnicity of the girl seems to change.

I like them both, they are like my sisters-seems to be similar in some ways, but oh, so different!

With her favorite B-day doll! Monster High dolls RULE!))) And Lalaloopsy too)))

My sweet baby girl just turned 4!!!

Wow! I just simply cannot believe this... but here it is.

And for her B-day, this little princess requested a beautiful cake "Just like Buddy!"-she watches Buddy Valastro's show :) "Cake Boss" when I did this doll cake-she said that she was surprised-she didn't think I had it in me)))LOL!!!

Oh well, I was out of cake business for years-and a bit rusty at it, but I think I did managed to please my PRINCESS!

Some of you might recognize MS punches)

I did bought at the local Jo Anne's store a sugar list, and punches for it, but no matter how much I tried those punches DID NOT WORK for me...( so, instead I just pulled out Martha Stewart punches for paper and used on that sugar list (it tastes like gum) for flowers, butterflies and leaf. Colored with edible powder and... voila!

Sapphire Blue

She is Rachel Anderson's Twilight Shimmer -Sweet Pea

For some reason little fairies were in my way-and I butchered poor stamp-I cut them out-they just limited my fantasy)) I like to see stars! Which I have made with water and Crafty Secrets stamps of stars.

There is not much as far as materials-just a variety of blue cardstock.

Colored with distress ink pads-(what else???) LOL!

And Copic markers for the sweet fairie.

And nail art for the "stars"

This will be my 2nd entry in a Sweet Pea challenge "Monochromatic"

Mermaid's song

Hello again!Today I want to share with you my mermaid card

Which I did for a Challenge "Mysterious Woman" (Женщина загадка! )

There is NOTHING more mysterious then women and ocean to me LOL

I have used a stamp of a mermaid which I have found on ebay, I don't know who designed her, or who made it-she's a MYSTERY girl)

Background I painted with my favorite distress ink pads and dry chalk. Mermaid I have colored with Copic markers.
I have added some corals from Cavallini stamp collection
some pearls.
With my Cricut machine I cut out the sea weeds. And Shiny metallic paper completes my "masterpiece"
Sorry though... no matter how much I tried to take a good picture, I still didn't succeeded(

Rachel Anderson's Lilly of the Valley

This is an AMAZING image! So romantic and soft... and yet... I procrastinated for a L-O-O-O-N-G time to even take it into my hands. I really wanted to do justice to it. And... yesssss.... mushrooms-and snails... But, in the end, I do think it turned out not a half way bad. I am acctually pretty happy the way it turned out.

Oh, and all those blue flowers-I punched them out of the watercolor paper, colored it with distress ink (tumbled glass) and covered with Glossy and glitter.

Background as usual I have painted with distress ink pads and sponge, and a little bit of a dry chalk.

Twilight ATC gift set

This gift set was made for my best friend-who is the biggest Twilight fan I know. I have to say, I was happy to play with this theme-because, well... I practicly live where this story takes place, and some of the scienes were filmed right at the place where I DO! live! And I DO LOVE where I live:)
So, Dashik.... this is for you! ( I know... you don't usually see my blog, so that is fine-it'll be a surprise)

All ATC were made with stamps exept the Vampire's eye, and the swan, those two I have printed out on the white paper and colored it, and then I also printed them on a acetate and added some alcohol ink. I like how they look 3D.

The rest ATC were done in my usual style, and some of them I have covered with deep embossing powder and cracked them.

The box itself (bottom portion) I have reusedfrom a chocolates I have recieved as a gift, but the jacket I made from the scratch. And so happy that I was able to use authentic Italian postage stamp with the wolf:) And a stamp with initial "B" for Bella's name real wax!
On the card where Edward and Bella with flowers kissing-I put a lot of glitter on the face of Edward-he's all"shiny" ))
But, my favorite I think-is the big wolf.... I am not a big fan of Jackob-but WOLF)))
So, I hope Dashik will like this B-day (belated) gift.

It's your Birthday, wheather you like it, or not

This is my card for my 6 year old niece Alyssa. Best friend of my daughter Victoria. They are 2 years apart, but look like sisters, not just cousins, and even they tempers match))) So, when my sister (Alla) asked me to do a card for my favorite niece-only ONE image came to my mind-that's right-"Lily of the Valley"-"it's your Birthday" Matches that girl 100 %!
Paper is Basic Grey, Tulips -is my new die cut from Memory Box, cut twice, then I cut off heads of the tulips on one set and colored, and I added some gloccy for more of a 3D effect. Image is colored with Copic markers.
Just some old lace and a pebble with a crinckled bow finishes my card. I wonder what Alyssa's mom and dad would feel seing this card? LOL!

With this card I am entering again in a Sweet Pea Challenge Blog.
Hoping that some day Lady Luck will smile at me too)
I really fell in love with this stamp (ching-chou kuik's Inner Tender), but was soooo scared, I didn't know if I'll be any good at coloring animals.
For the first time, I guess it's not bad... But, I am hoping I'll do better next time!
This card is pretty simple on materials I used:
Neenah paper, colored image with Copic markers
Martha Stewart paper Punch, Nestabilities Die
Some jems from my stash, flowers and peraly heart pin.
And... of course glitter:) (Can't help it...)))
I really liked how this green pops out, being surrounded by all that white.

This is my card for Valentines Day featuring Rachel Anderson's Pixie Dust

I colored her with Copic markers, background is colored with Distress Ink, just a touch of glitter, and some flowers, and butterflys which I bought at local Michael's store.
I really liked the way my mushroom turned out, I did hesitated about that particular image, that is why this stamp was waiting a L-O-O-O-N-G time!!! I have two more stams with mushrooms and fairies from this artist... I'll go and see what I can do)

Royal Blue

Royal Blue-is my favorite color... So is Fairy Festival which many of you know, my family visits every summer. Some of you even remember my costumes. :) This is how I'd like to see myself:

There isn't much to tell about her... Stamp is called Natalie, I colored her with Copic markers, and dry chalk for the background-I like her a lot)
Roses I made from the same background paper, and some swirls. Simple, and all ROYAL BLUE! ))

I know... I know, yesterday most of you didn't believed me that I have gained a lot of weight-well I DID! And I am NOT proud of it, but am trying to do something about it. I would love it if you share what kind of diet are you using, especially if you have sugar problems, like me.
Well, I have found one delicious soup, that is called FAT FLUSH SOUP:
here if you are interested the recipe:
2 tsp. Olive oil
1 1/4 lbs lean ground beef, turkey, or shredded chicken
1 onion
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 bell pepper, seeded and chopped
8 oz mushrooms, chopped
1 ( 14 oz) can crushed tomatoes
1 (32oz.) bottle reduced -sodium tomatoes or vegetable cocktail juice
1 TBS. Fresh lemon juice
1 (14oz. ) can beans rinsed and drained
1 Tbs. ground cumin
1/8 tsp. cayenne or to taste
1/4 cup each fresh cilantro and parsley, chopped

In a stockpot, heat olive oil over medium-high setting. Saute meat/poultry until cooked through, about 5 minutes.
Drain and set aside.

Saute onion, garlic, peppers and mushrooms until soft, about 5 minutes.
Stir in remaining ingredients, expat cilantro and parsley. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. stir in cilantro and parsley. Cover; simmer 10 minutes longer. Store soup in refrigerator up to 5 days. Freezes well.
Makes 16 cups
1 serving = 3 cups

Well, I hope our winter voes are over, and I am here to post my first work for this year.
But, first I have to tell you that there is still something wrong with my connection, because I have tried to visit your blogs, and they aren't loading... I don't know whether that is still connected to all of our "Power outage" or not, but I will try again and again....

Well, this fairy probably not my usual... :) But, as soon as I saw her-I fell in love with her.
and you know why? Because I feel that I am becoming her.... Not so skinny anymore(.... I try and try, but fail everytime, oh well...
Looking at her, that she looks so light-that she's flying, is giving me hope, maybe I'll fly again!:)

I colored her with Prismacolor pencils, and roses I made from the same paper that is the background.
I really like her:)

Yeah, winter is here!:)
With a vengeance!
All around us world is covered in ICE! And yesterday we went to sleep with no heat and no power! It's beautiful
It's scary,... It's WINTER!
While I've got some connection, I'll show you, how OUR Winter Palace looks like;)

All this snow is covered at least 1" of ice!

Well, this is my LAST batch of Christmas cards this year, and they are all on their way to my friends all over the world: Russia, France, Vietnam, Africa and etc....
I have been working hard, but now my heart is calm, because I am happy that I have managed to do cards for all the people I wanted to send something special. I hope they all like it.

Hello again, this time I wish to show you my experiments with Prismacolor Pencils. I can tell you for sure, that I am not 100% sure how and what am I doing with it. But for the moment I am kind of pleased with the results.

What do you think?

The image I used is of Joanne Schempp's Blue Pearl, I tried to copy the coloring of original, as much as I could do. Paper is from K&Comapny, some ribbon and a flower, beads and pin. Some half pearls and acrylic beads finished my card.

Background I have colored with distress ink pads.

The schallenge is to make a "painting" using large stamps.

I do like this card a lot. Stamp is from Hertfelt Creations

a bit of old lace as a whitewater, a star fish from a shrink plastic, a hydrangea flower and a "water" droplet

Tim Holtz sticky tape with words... it's so reminds me of a beautiful place I know and miss dearly: Shelter Cove... Lovely place.... Peaceful and romantic, but very fun during storms too )

It is really tough to find a present for my husband either for Bday, or Xmas... well, at least I have made a card for him, which I HOPE he'll like it. Idea isn't mine, I saw this card at my VERY good friend Olga-Liola, and she gave me her permission to do a variation of my own. Thanks Olechka!!!

This is a traditional movie that we watch as a couple at New Years.

I cut the frame of the window from card stock 5 times, added a piece of shrink plastic as a glass, cut out a piece of black paper and glued a cut out from a magazine as my TV, Christmas lights and Tree is a die cuts, a piece of sheer ribbon is my curtains.
A lovely swirls of snow is a die cut as well.
At the last moment -since I had a "helper" I glued my window a bit crooked, but, oh well.... I am not going to re do it.

Well, in two days, I have made 7! cards similar-Oh, I have used all different stamps on all of them, but the same technique. Boy! I tell you-I had FUN!!! :)
My fingers are all inky, but I am so happy-only 4 more cards left-and I'll be done!!! All my friends and family would be covered.
Today I will show you, one of these cards.

Dryad

This card was made for a "secret" person in a "Secret Message" game. Only I know, who will recieve her.

She was printed on acetate, colored with Copic markers and Smooch ink.

Leaves were stamped, cut out and colored with distress ink, and covered in crackle.

Flowers, brads, and half pearls are just the finishing touch it needed.

I hope... I really! hope that person will like her, because I had a hard time parting with her.

In a new blog Paint your world where I am currently a member of DT new challenge is to make a portrait using stamps.
Here is my take on this:
Here I die cut corner pieces, stamped girl into the Anna Griffin frame, and embossed that frame with gold.
Die cut felt flowers and glued in some half pearls. Girl was colored with dry chalk and Copic markers.

We all need ideas, when it comes to big holidays, and we have to make cards in bunches.

This one I have made in just 30 minutes!!! I will make more of these for my family and friends.

And all you need is just a few small stamps and Tim Holtz ink+ white acrylic paint!

And to make it even more magic-a touch of glitter ;)

To make these cards i've used stamped images of Magnolia and Whiff of Joy, coloured with ProMarkers.

Hello everyone!
Christmas is getting closer, so it's time to make some Christmas cards now? =)))
Today i'd like to show you two of them:

To make these cards i've used:

Christmas ornament Tutorial

Holidays are right around corner, aren't they?...
So many things we want to do....
We want to make everyone we love to feel special.
Well, I want to suggest making Christmas ornaments together as a family, or as a personal ond loving gifts to your family members and friends.

I got on e-bay plain circle coasters, they are so cheap! :)
And you'll need some doilies, pretty picture like the one I have used from Crafty Secrets,
pieces of ribbons,
flowers, buttons, feathers-whatever you have around the house:)

You'll also need some glue,
double sided sticky tape
scissors
and if you really want to be fancy, or you are a scrapper like me-UTE (Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel)
Heat gun
chalk
Eyelet and eyelet stetting tool
circle puncher might be of a use ;)

and here is what you do:

Take the coaster, and a pritty patterned paper (I have used Anna Griffin Willow collection) from patterned paper I cut out a circle larger then my coaster (about 1inch larger in diameter)

Then I glued coaster to the paper, right in the center

Then I have cut up sections of paper into "flaps" and glued all around coaster.

When I was done with that , I glued my doily right in the center with double sticky tape

set the eylet with eylet setting tool

Next step you might want to skip, if you are the begginer, and just glue your image in the center of the doily.

But, if you are willing you can do heat embossing with UTEE( I did 3 layers of UTEE on my piece), afterwards the heating process place your image in the refregitrator for a few minutes,then remove from cold and push with your finger as much as you can, to crack the enamel

Then I used some of the wet chalk to make my image more "vintage"

just by rubbing chalk over the cracked image

Proceed to decorate to your taste

Here you can see the crackle effect of UTEE

And, this is my finished gift:

Could be a lovely and memorable gift to someone who has a new baby boy in the family;)

We suggest you to play the exchange game “Secret Message”, but it is not an ordinary exchange, it is a “secret” one!

Then you write your own address to the end of the list, find two or three people who want to join too and in short time enjoy the effect, starting to get cards from different places of the world. Ideally you’ll get 27 cards.

Rules

1. In this game we exchange only hand-made message cards. What’s their difference from usual greeting cards? Their aim is not to congratulate somebody, but to pass certain idea, thought. You have to send your partner a message, emotion or mood, not just a pretty meaningless card. You can use any technique for your message card – drawing, collage, scrapbooking or whatever you like. These beautiful cards can be regarded as examples of a message card (each picture is a link to its author):

2. You’ll have to make and send only one card. Put your message card in an envelope.

3. The décor of message cards. Size – 10*15 cm. It must contain an image of a MAIN CHARACTER (a person or a part of his or her body: eye, hand etc, maybe an animal or a bird or even some thing, if it expresses your idea. The presence of some TEXT (at least one word) is also obligatory. There are no restrictions as for materials and techniques used. At the back of your card you MUST write or print your name and surname, e-mail and blog address. Any other additions – as you like. You have to make and send your card within 7 days.

4. Very important – manipulations with addresses: when you receive a letter-invitation to the game, you’ll find there a description of the game and three addresses of players. You send one message card to the FIRST address in the list. This player has “played”, and you delete his or her address, adding your own address instead AT THE END OF THE LIST. Therefore you correct the list of addresses: the second one becomes the first, the third one becomes the second and your address is the third and last. It means that in each email, sent in the game, there are always three addresses. And you send the same e-mail with three corrected addresses to two or three new players.

5. How can I find new players? Create a post like this in your blog and ask people to join us, then send the list of addresses to two or three people wishing to play. Be careful choosing new players (you should trust them) and don’t forget that if you invite an unfair person, the chain will be broken and some people won’t receive cards they wait for. If you can’t find new players, you can look at the posts “I want to play” and “I want to invite to the game” in the blog of the game.

6. How it works? Three players get your address as the third, 9 – as the second, and 27 – as the 1^st in the list. If everybody fulfils all rules correctly, you get handmade 27 cards from different places of the world in exchange for your only card.

7. How can I enter a game? You can leave a comment in any blog, where this post is published. Don’t get upset, if you can’t join the game right now. According to the law of geometric progression the number of posts offering to play will grow immensely. You can leave your comment in the post “I want to play” and wait till somebody invites you.

8. You can play the game as many times you want, if you join different chains and send your card in each one.

9. Please follow the rules carefully. For each card made and sent you should send only three emails with addresses. If you want to get more cards – join another team.

10. After receiving each card please find an opportunity to visit a sender’s blog and inform his or her that a card was delivered successfully.

11. Be ready to send a card to any address in any country you get. Joining the game, remember, that somebody’s little happiness depends on you. You have only to be very careful with addresses and to make and to send ONLY ONE card, it's so easy! So please do not fail!

ATTENTION: ! The result of a game is unpredictable, if you are not ready to take risk and you are interested in the result only, it is better not to enter the game.

The aim is not getting loads of cards but the process of the game itself. You don’t know a person you send your message to, and you don’t know how many cards exactly you get and who sends them to you. But you know that somebody will be very happy to receive your letter, and it is great, isn’t it?

Since I am lucky enough to be in the DT here is my card:

Honestly, It really makes me smile:)

I didn't colored pumpkins on purpose, I thought it makes my scardy kitty to stand out, and a splash of color from the paper (DCWV)

I just love the "expression" on Tilda's face and Cats eyes!

And I also made this angel from "Sweet Pea" collection yesterday.

I think it turned out kind of somber, But, I still like it.

Here I added as a decoration resistant canvas, which I left just "as is" for a contrast.

On a personal note:

In a few days, I am leaving for California, My younger sister is about to have her 4th baby, and she's going to need all the help she could have, especcially because she's going to have a C-Section.

So, have fun, don't loose me)

How to have a fun memory of the past Halloween? How to entertain a kid, who is already full of candies? As easy as pie! Let’s make a ghost.

Most likely you know how to do it. But if you don’t - join me!

We will need:

- piece of black\dark fabric

- glue which you can easily remove

- white acrylic paint

- disposable plate (optional)

- glitter powder

- varnish (optional)

- eyes

But most importantly, we need the sweetest, most wonderful and most beautiful feet in the world:-)

Now we have everything. Let’s start.

1. 1. Pour the glue into plate and mix it with white paint

2. Put the lovely foot in the mix. Foot and toes should be well painted

3. And set foot on the dark fabric. Hold for a couple of seconds

4. Remove the foot, get a ghost:-))) To ghost flickered like a real one just put the glitter on it. And set aside to dry.

5. It’s time to wash the foot:-) Use wipes

6. Now shake off unnecessary glitter and attach a ghost eyes. It looks alive!!!

7. Leave for another hour, so it's all dried out. If you want you can cover it with varnish and glitter will not fall off.

And that’s it! You have your own homemade ghost. Frame it and enjoy. Kids loooooove the proccess! Try and you will not be sorry :-)

This was love at first glance....
As soon as I saw this little adorable cutie pie (*C.C. Designs DRAGON Rubber Stamp Baby Tricks or Treats )-I had to have him! He reminds me of my son. :)
I painted background as usual-with distress ink pads, this time I have used:
Black Soot
Old Paper
Brushed Corduroy
Stamped some trees, pumpkins
Die cut the fence, and a corner piece
Leafes were punched out and brunches too.
I colored my little monster with Copics.
And added a brad-which I just bought on sale at Wallmart.
And I could't resist to add some flower soft in "Autumn" color.

Winter Wonderland handmade card

I have started getting ready for the BIG holidays.
This is one of the first ones this year. I really had fun ~~painting~~ coloring it)
Here I have used black cardstock, glittery black cardstock, White Neenah paper, stamped Heartfelt image, and colored with distress ink pads (Tumbled glass, Chipped Sapphire) for white accents I have used quite a lot of Opaque White-it does makes all the difference!
On the top I cut out a piece of acetate and stamped white swirls using opague StazOn ink, and attached with glue dots.
Bit of glitter .... and I was done!

I don't know about you... But, for me Sympathy cards are THE hardest ones to do....
What do you say, to a person who lost a loved one? And how do you comfort someone, especially if life was taken tragically???
I really don't know....
This card is for a young widow of my husbands co-worker. Tomorrow we will be going for a fundraiser for the young woman and her 2 children.
I only hope, she will find peace in time, and strenght to raise her young children.

We are very new to the challenges, and we started without setting any rules, but this way it's really not fair, for many people. So, we are going through a lot of changes and we would like to introduce you, to OUR rules, which we will enforce ASAP.

All entries must include YOUR COLOURING of any image you want.
(Whiff of Joy, Prima, House of Mouse, Magnolia, Penny Black, Sweet Pea, Crafty Secrets etc.)
This is a colouring challenge blog. You can use ANY colouring medium – markers, pencils, paints, even finger paint! YOU MUST have coloured the image YOURSELF

All entries MUST be NEW

You must follow the Theme of the Challenge. ALL of our themes are about colouring. If a colour is the theme it means to COLOUR with that colour.

You must link back to Scrap Affair

You can enter up to THREE unique projects as long as each project is NEW and you have followed the theme

You can create any type of project, cards, scrapbook pages, ATC, Altered Art & more as long as it includes YOUR COLOURING and follows the challenge theme

Paper Mosaic

Have a lot of pretty bits and pieces of scrap paper, not ready to throw them out, but don't know what to do with it?

Well, then you'll going to like this idea! Why not make a paper mosaic?!

I't easy! You allready have the paper,

all you need is

white acrylic paint,

decoupage medium,

and dimentional gloss medium.

1. Get your paper ready

2. Paint your surface with white acrylic paint, cover it twice if needed.

3. Arrange your paper on the area you are working on. Then carefully lift each piece with tweezers, brush decoupage mediumon the back and replace it.

4.Brush coat of decoupage medium over the entire mosaic and allow to dry.Then add a coat of dimentional gloss medium to each paper piece. Be sure not to get gloss medium onto the "grout". Set aside to dry.

Doesn't this looks like pieces of brocken china?

This look will be a treasure on the cover of your scrap albums, pages and cards and a good way to use your scraps.

For the love of Doilies!

If you have a wedding shower, wedding party or ANYTHING related to wedding! Here is an awesome and simple tutorial for you!

Let's make a Bride and Groom out... of Doilies!

So, before we begin, here is a list of things you'll need:

4 doilies

black paint

scissors

glue (of course!)

just a Small piece of organza (or some other flow piece of fabric for the veil)

So let's start with the bride. We are going to use 2 doilies.

Take one doily, and cut it in half:

From both sides make a cone, like so:

Place a small amount of glue, and glue one cone inside of the other.

Then take our uncut doily make the same cut as before in half then your half one cut again in half, make it into 1/4th of a doily.

And cut of the plane part from the lacy one:

Glue ends together:

Then glue smaller cones to the large one. Voila! It starts to look like a dress!

Face of the bride you can make out of thin, long strip of paper rolled into a tight circle, add a piece of fabric, some embellishments of your choice - you're done with the bride!

Let's make a groom!

Before we begin, first of all we should paint doily black - unless your groom is matching with the bride ;)

We shall do the same first 2 steps as with the bride "dress" and "sleeves"

But then we shall make PANTS for our handsome guy!

Then we shall add adorable face to the lucky guy a hat and a bow tie - all from the thin, long strip of paper in different colors.

And in just under 10 minutes you have made a miniature centerpieces for your party!

Just a hint:

Take away the veil-and our creation will transform into a Christmas or christening angel!

Coloring with Shimmer Spray Tutorial

Hi there, it's Dianascarlett today with a little tutorial how to color your images with shimmer spray.

Here is what you are going to need:
A cardstock
Clear embossing powder
Stamp of your choice ( I have used Susan Nicoll, Antique Rose)
And Shimmer Spray of your choice (I have used Maya Road)

Here we go!

Stamp your image and emboss

Spritz Shimmer spray on transperency sheet.
Here are some tips:
Shimmer sprays tend to settle to the bottom of the bottle quickly so make sure you shake them up before sraying.
Paint rose using shimmer sprays and paintbrush.
Paint the rose and leaves with the lightest colors first (If you have at hand, I did not) and then go back to add darker colors.

And here is what I did with my colored Rose.

Shabby Paper Rose Tutorial

Hi, this is a quick tutorial to show you how to make a shabby paper rose you can use to embellish your cards, layouts etc using some basic craft supplies. Here's what you need:

A piece of patterned paper (I've used Anna Griffin Paper)

Strong glue (I used glossy accents type glue)

Glitter Glue

Distress Ink (Optional - that's why it's not in the photo)

Firstly tear your paper all the way around the edge, the continue by making a square spiral into the centre of the paper...

Now spritz lighty (don't over moisten) your paper...

Whilst the paper is moist scrunch it up like this...

Now start with the longest edge (this is outside edge of your paper where you began tearing) and twist the paper whilst starting to make a spiral to form the rose. Make sure you hold the paper securely in the centre...

Continue until you have completed the process with all the paper...

Glue the end of the paper at the back of your rose, making sure it's stuck well. The turn over your rose and glue underneath the other layers so that the flower holds together...

If you wish you can use a little Distress Ink to give your rose a more shabby look, I like this effect...

Finally add glitter glue to finish. I have also added a button and some twine but this is purely down to taste...

Here is my rose on my finished card...

The papers and tag on my card are from Prima, the paper I used for my rose is from Anna Griffin. I also used Ranger Distress Ink & Stickles, all these products are available from A Scrap Affair. Hope this tutorial will come in handy!

My mind was blown away by card that NataShuk made for the last challenge.

And she is kind enough to share with us her secrets how she made it.

Here it is my friends! It easy, it's fun... and it's Euporic on a cards!!!

Here is a list of what you'll need to make this fantastic paper:

1.Paper for watercolors
2.Watercolor paint
3.Soft Brush
4.Container with water For watercolors
5.A piece of wax (or a candle)
6. A Big container of water
7.Heat tool
8.Plastic to cover and protect your working area

Wet your watercolor paper in a large container

Let the water to slide off the page

And while the paper is wet drip on it chosen colors from a paint brush

Make sure that the whole page is covered in color

You can mix colors, so that design will have more depth to it

Dry your paper with a heating tool, or if you don't own one, air dry it.

When your page is dry, take some of that wax, and make simple designs, like swirls.

Remember wax is colorless, so make sure you don't have empty spaces, unless you desire so.

And wax will leave some crumbs behind on the paper-don't worry about it. Just leave them.

For the second time place your colored with paint and wax page into the large container with water, and qiuckly remove it, so the color won't dissappear into the water.

Let exess water to drip off

Now let the magic begin....

While your page is still wet add a second layer of color, just like you did before.

And Now you'll see how the paint will awoid waxed portions of the paper and make cool design.

This part kids love the most!

You can pick up your paper, and let pain to swirl into the different pattern.

After that you apply heat or air dry it once more.

And when your paper is completely dry, add some contrasting dots, let's say with white acrylic paint with a tooth brush.

Don't forget, that at this point you can add some stamped or embossed elements too!

Do not disregard your leftover paper-you can decorate inside the card with them.

Lady Bug shaped card Tutorial

It seems like the most popular card I have ever made was my Lady Bug card.
I allready did tutorial on this card before, but it was in a different language. This time I will show it to you in a lot more details.

Materials you will need for this project:

2 12x12 cardstock pages
cutting mat
good, sharp, cutting knife
sticky tape
accents
1/2" circle punch
2 "googly" eyes

Tutorial how to make a tag with Stamp / Ink / Embossing

How to make a tag with Stamp / Ink / Embossing

Material: stamps of your choice (here Aladine butterflies), Distress (here: peeled paint, dusty concord, mustard seed), Versamark ink, gold embossing powder, tag Tim Holtz, heat gun, blending tool Tim Holtz.

Pour faire un tag avec Tampon / Encre / Embossage

Matériel : tampon de votre choix (ici papillons Aladine), Distress (ici : peeled paint, dusty concord, mustard seed), encre Versamark, poudre à embosser or, tag Tim Holtz, heat gun, blending tool Tim Holtz.

Commencer à appliquer l’encre ou les encres de votre choix.

Begin to apply the ink or inks of your choice.

Tamponner avec la versamark vos motifs (ici des papillons et la définition du mot papillon). Saupoudrer de poudre à embosser, tapoter pour enlever l’excédent, et chauffez avec votre heat gun.

Stamp your designs with Versamark (here butterflies and the definition of the word butterfly). Sprinkle embossing powder, tap off excess and heat with your heat gun.

Vous obtiendrez ceci :

Ensuite, reprenez vos encres et frottez votre tag avec le blendig tool Tim Holtz, en faisant des mouvements circulaires.

Then, take your inks and rub your tag with Tim Holtz blendig tool, make circular movements.

Et voilà le résultat :

Et voici un autre exemple réalisé avec de la poudre à embosser « transparent nacré », tampon Artémio, et distress vintage photo.

And here is another example made with embossing powder "transparent pearl", Artemio stamp “tour eiffel”, and vintage photo distress.

Butterfly Topiary and Egg

Create a magical Easter Springtime Tablescape using Martha Stewart butterfly punch, pretty papers, and paint chips from hardware store.

Materials:
Styrofoam 9"x4" cone, 4" egg
white pedestal (I used a vase)
Patterned papers: I used Melissa frances 5th Ave
Coordinating pearl-head streight pins 11/2 long, about 300
Tools:
small butterfly punch

Punch a pile of butterflies from paint chips and patterned papers-keep the piles separate.

Layer a paper butterfly over a paint chip butterfly, insert pin throgh center and into cone near bottom edge. Pinch top wings to add dimention.

Continue pinning pairs of butterflies to cone, mixing colors randomly and working from bottom to top.

Slightly twist wings to cover any gaps between butterlies.

Cover foam egg in the same way as cone.
