Sleeping Bear

This is my FAVORITE card to make, I know I have made a different variations of it in the past. But, this time I am really happy how this card turned out.
The bear is stamp from Heartfelt Crerations.
The Window is from Memory Box
The scene in the window is atamped trees, masked sun-colored with distress ink and a touch of glitter.
Papers I have used here are from Colorbox-0bought from a local Walmart store.
And just a perfect touch is a brad with flowers-adds a vintage and old time charm.

Love reaches new heights

Sold

Oh, this is so exiting for me, to try this technique!
It's so easy!!! And FAST!!! and it looks like a photo!
http://www.stampscapes.com/lesson26.html
My Daughter (4 y.r) fascinated by Giraffe's, and she was begging me to do a card with them. Giraffe's... well, to me it means Africa-and I have never been there, but, this is how I see it)
To make this card I have used:
Stamps(tree and animals and birds) by: Local King Rubber Stamp-I have found them on ebay.
And I have used a glossy cardstock, and
with stylus tool.
 Brown, orange, yellow plain cardstock.
moon was made with a mask
I am planning to enter this card into: Simon Says Stamp-anything goes.

Waterfall of wishes

It is practically summer... And both of my kids are sick-AGAIN! When are they going to build enough immunity... I don't know....
So, there is practically no time for my computer friends, or much scrapping....
I did get this fantastic stamp from Kevin Nakagawa last week, only now I got to do something with it.
And since I haven't been surfing much of the net for challenges, I hope at Craft a Sciene they will allow me a 3rd entry at May Flowers.
Card is very simple, just a colored and stamped picture of a waterfall, handmade flowers(with the help of Cheery Lynn die)
and papers are a free gift to an english scrapbooking magazine.
Colored with Copic and Distress markers,a bit of glitter,
and white water on a waterfall I made with white acrylic paint and sea sponge.
Stay well my friends!

May Flowers

I know.... I cannot stop myself from making only one project for the challenge. The problem is... once you start thinking, ideas come in from every corner... And you just cannot possibly put them all into one card. So... YES you guessed :) I did a second card for the May challenge at  Craft a Scene.
This time I have used two stamps (Window) from Magnolia, and Silhouette from Hero Arts.
I also used embossing folder brick wall from Ranger (my favorite)
To color the scene I used Copic markers and Distress markers-I am falling more and more in love with these!
After I embossed my "Brick wall" paper I sander a bit. Stamped the lady, then stamped the window colored it, made a cut out opening, glued the two together. Taped my window scene to the wall, and added some flower soft.
A sentiment and a ribbon finished my project.
I really like how it turned out.
Simple, yet elegant and fit for a lady! :) that  is my idea for May flowers and Mothers day too!

April showers bring May flowers

At my new favorite challenge blog Craft a Scene started a new challenge
And since I live in Washington state, I just couldn't resist to make a card which looks like a scene straight from my living room window :)
And by the way-it's May outside! What a coincidence!!!
Anyway...
Papers are just a plain cardstock I have picked up at local Fred Mayer's store.
Scenery stamp is from Heartfelt Creations. I just added some pine trees, because we have them here at our town.
Rubber boots, clouds with rain drops and sentiment are a tiny stamp collection I have picked up on line.
Flowers are a Martha Stewart Hydrangea punch.
A "puddle" is a little sticker I had "forever"....
Scenery I have colored with:
Copic Markers
Distress Markers
Sacura souffle pens
glitter
And a bakers twine completes my card.
I wish to enter it in to the challenge
Thanks for stopping by! Wish you all the best!
XOXO

May Flowers

This card I have made for the Sweet Pea challenge blog as well.
Stamp is:
Rebecca Sinz's Seasons Autumn
This was a bit challenging situation.
The girl is pictured with fall leaves, and I wanted her to appear on a spring grass)
I think I have managed to achieve the desired look.
The only thing I wasn't too happy, is that girls nose appear to be more "masculine" then I want it to be... So is her hand-I did masked her hand with a bouquet of flowers, but, I couldn't do anything about her nose( ( I am not a plastic surgeon unfortunately)
I do love  how her hair came out-she had  fall laves in her hair as well, but I hid them)
I glued some flower mix into the grass-my lavender flowers. And just had to add a lady bug)-what is a spring without lady bugs???
I did embossed green cardstock with flowers, and added a flower for her necklace (again, hiding a fall leaf)
And I do, like how the picture is darker, but the card is lighter, stamp sort of appears as a photograph-My opinion...
Anyway... I hope, it did turned out nice, in spite of her nose )))

May Flower theme

This card I have made in mind for the May Flower theme for the Sweet Pea challenge blog.
Acctually, I have made 2 cards, with sort of similar images and this is the 2nd card. But, I will show you this one first.
This image is called: "Lily Dreams" ( I have a sister named Liliy)-maybe I'll give this one to her.
Anyway...
I colored this girl with Copic markers, and added shadows with my new DISTRESS markers!
I L-O-V-E the effect of deep and rich and creamy shadows! :)
Flowers and frame I made with Cheery Lynn die
And heart I first punched out, colored with distress ink, then I stamped with background "crackle" stamp, and embossed several times with UTEE.
I don't remember where did the text came from...

My school years...

I am on a  DT at " I Love Scrap"
And today it is offered for us to make a scrapbooking page with this sketch:
I am a bit "Rusty" with the pages, for about a year or so, I have been doing primarily cards.
But, my friend Dashik has been too patient  and lenient with me, and she finally reminded me of my obligations)
So, I have planned originally to do this page with my daughters photos, and her favorite Lallaloopsy dolls. But, Walmart screwed up my order-and I had no photos to work with.
I ended up working with photos from my school years. Those photos are HORRIBLE! But, the only ones I have from my Russian school years.
I look quite stern-I have been sick prior to photo day, and just had some pretty hard and sad time in life at that moment.
So... Here is what came of this sketch:

I am happy!

Today, I just wanted to jump, twirl and sing in the rain! )))
You know why???
Well, because-it's not my B-day, it's not a X-mas day... it's not even a mothers day...
But, I had a dream come true day!
My sweet and wonderful husband got me a present(s) I have been dreaming about for quite some time now. Want to know what it is?
Well, look here:

I can't believe my own happiness!!!)))
Distress markers-I've got them ALL!!!

By the way-you can buy the Vagabond and Distress markers at Scrap Affair store! :)

Lady of the Lake

This looks like a nice and peaceful place, and then this gate is like a portal into a stormy place.
And yet, she's quite confident walking into that world.
I quite often feel like I am walking into something unknown and scary... I wish for the confidence to walk so simply into the new job, or how about motherhood?! Marriage?! I don't know where she's headed, but she is sure of herself. :)

Same stamp as before Rachel Anderson's Mystic
Different background, and coloring-DIFFERENT mood! :)
My husband said he liked this version better :)
The rose here I bought some nail art from ebay-looks like it really belongs here, doesn't it?
I am still not too happy with the "lightning"-need to work on it.
By the way lighting, and the Lake background are stamps from
Well, this is it...
Thank you for stopping by, if you leave a comment, I'll know you have been here.
I wish you a VERY good day!
XOXO
